The tournament format was also slightly revised from previous years whereas Super League Division Group Stage matches and Quarterfinals were played on Day One. Veteran League Division teams took the field on Day Two playing a new format [3 groups (4 teams in each group)] with the top 8 teams progressing to the Quarterfinals.

Mokhtar Dahari Challenge Shield 2007 was blessed with good weather conditions and the two days saw plenty of competitive football being played whilst fellow Victorians mingle around with each other reminiscing old memories and fostering new relationships. After the final whistle was blown, some ran out winners and some were unlucky not to be but hopefully all will cherish the experience they had participating in Mokhtar Dahari Challenge Shield 2007.

next yr sepatutnya join veteran and super league pd hari yg sama.to make the tournament very lively and crowded.make full use of the large field that we have!!we can have 4 football pitch in 1 field.1st day seems to be very dull and not happening.committee please take this into consideration.

We appreciate your feedbacks and we have forward it to Mr. Rashdan, the tournament advisor & VIOBA committee member. Here are Mr. Rashdan's replies to your suggestions/comments:

Dear k,

Batch '80, '81 & '82 are the most senior batch taking part in this year's tournament and they are very happy with the tournament format. FYI, Batch '80 & '82 played a total of 6 games on Sunday just the same as all the Super League teams played on Saturday and they didn't complain about exhaustion.

Dear victorious victorian,

We did try to set up 3 pitches for the tournament but because of last minute setbacks from FAS, we failed to acquire another set of goalposts. It seems that you are keen to lend your support to make this tournament more happening. If so, please don't hesitate to contact me (Rashdan - 012-2055296) to be part of the organizing secretariat for the next tournament.

Dear anonymous,

For the futsal tournament, we received RM 4,700 in cash sponsorhip and please bear in mind there weren't any other prizes. Compared to last year, where winners only went home with t-shirts, the prizes are much better this time around. We would appreciate your ideas and future plans to make this tournament better and please don't hesitate to contact me to discuss those ideas.

For direct replies to your feedbacks/suggestions, please contact Mr. Rashdan at 012-2055296.
